SANTA MONICA, CA — It's been long overdue but Max Lindez finally got what he's had coming for years, a kick where it counts on America's Highway, Route 66.

For over thirty years no one has been safe around Max. No one has been immune to his sick humor. And now the people have spoken.

In a trip down the Mother Road, Max continued to be himself, taking shots at everyone along the way, every ethnic group, old people, young people, slow drivers, fast drivers, men, women, everyone but himself.

"Route 66 is America's Main Street and the people in middle America aren't gonna stand for this stuff," Said Baxter City, Kansas city councilman Fred Barnes. "He can take his crap back to where he came from. Wait a minute, I hear they don't want him there either. Too bad, he gets what he's got coming to him. This is a free country and we're free to kick him in the nuts if we feel it necessary."

I'm in love.

According to the owner of Seligman, Arizona's Canyon Lodge motel, "Here's this guy with crazy hair and a suspicious look on his face and he's got the nerve to ask for a military discount. I told him, 'you're already getting a discount! What are you, Jewish?' Well, that's what we say in India where I'm from. You don't say that here? Oh, well that's what we say in my country."

Roadside motels and rest stops became the the only safe haven for the instigator on this two-week trip. Ice was needed after nearly every stop to ease the swelling on the bruises Max suffered on his shins, toes and private parts.

The trip in total spanned nearly 6000 miles and 13 bags of ice, nearly one bag per day. Some days Max was too sore to get out of the car and insult people resulting in short moments of relief.

Word spread quickly that the infamous prankster was heading west. People showed up to give him a kick in St Louie, Joplin Missouri, Oklahoma City, oh so pretty. Kids lined up around the block in Amarillo, Gallup, New Mexico Flagstaff, Arizona, and they sure didn't forget Winona. Kingman, Barstow, San Bernadino were the biggest turnouts of the trip.

Max has supposedly learned the err of his ways and vows to treat people nice from now on. Only time will tell with that boy.
